Profile:

Licensed Clinical dietician, health behavior educator and media spokesperson for more than 17 years, Tina graduated with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Behavior Education from the American University of Beirut. She received her clinical and food service training at the Hotel Dieu de France, Educational Hospital in Beirut where she acted as Resident dietician providing medical nutrition therapy in endocrinology , cardiology, and pediatric departments.

In 2005, Tina moved to the UAE and acted as co-founder and Senior Clinical Dietician at Live’ly L.L.C, an SME specializing in clinical and catering services for weight management in Dubai. She headed the clinical operations there as Chief Clinical Officer for the last 6 years. Her main scopes of work were nutrition management for obesity, chronic diseases, and health behavior campaigns.

In 2018, Tina launched Tina Nutrition and Wellness Consultancy where she provides scientific based health and nutrition awareness services through organized campaigns, media outreach and corporate wellness activations in schools, business institutions, universities, and sports clubs before joining Cooper Health Clinic.

Tina is the club dietician at Rackets Tennis academy where she monitors young athletes’ nutrition for sports performance. Tina is a regular TV expert guest on MBC1, Sabah El kheir Ya Arab and had co-hosted the nutrition segment on MBC3’s Gentle Steps for 3 years discussing mainly children nutrition topics.

She strongly believes that gradual behavioral change helps achieve goals in children and adult obesity as well as weight complications resulting from hormonal imbalance.
